EDIT 4th AUGUST 2010: I don’t muck around do I? You can now view elvanto Mobile on your BlackBerry (at the moment we’ve only tested the 9800) and Nokia (running SymbianOS 3). Don’t worry if you have an older version, we’ll be testing more mobile operating systems very soon.

Tonight has been a good night. I wasn’t planning on working tonight but suddenly got the urge to work on it and I’m really, really glad I did. I was having some issues getting the mobile version of elvanto working on Android last week.

So tonight I set out to find out why. And here I am a couple of hours later writing this post with a big smile on my face! elvanto goes Android!

Unfortunately I don’t have the luxury of owning a phone with Android on it so here is a lovely little screen shot of elvanto in an Android emulator. Classy.

A quick note for the nerds. I was using PHP to GZIP my JavaScript. Android wasn’t liking it so I had to revert back to the good ol’ .js file. It’s always simple but always takes ages to figure it out

Hope you enjoy it. I’ve got a hold of some BlackBerry and Nokia emulators so I’ll begin testing those this week and hopefully have them up and running very soon. Appreciate your patience.
