Now you can upload files to songs
A feature that has been much requested over the past few weeks has been the ability to upload files to songs. Whether it be an MP3, chart, lyrics, or any other file that might be associated with songs, it can now be uploaded!
I’ve also totally revamped the design and the way song files function.
You will now notice that all song files are laid out in the familiar table format. You can click and drag to order the song files, see the name and file type and also edit or delete a file. You’ll also notice a new Add Song File button at the top right which you now need to click to add a new file.

When you add a new song file or edit an exisiting file, a window will pop up. Like before you can choose the file type and enter the title. Below that you can choose what sort of file you are wanting to attach to the song.
You have three options to choose from:
- Link to a URL – Here you can link to a website that contains a page, PDF file, YouTube video, Vimeo video or any other remote website.
- Embed a video – You can copy in embed code from any video website.
- Upload a file – Upload a file directly off your computer.

On a side note, all your song files are being tracked at the moment. Very soon I’ll be releasing CCLI Reporting which will give you an overview of how many downloads and views your songs have had making it easy to fill out your CCLI Reports. Stay tuned!
That’s all from me for now! Just to keep you in the loop, I’ll be releasing some exciting new iPhone/iPad updates very soon so make sure you subscribe to the blog so you can stay up to date.

Hi Ben,
can you upload multiple files to a song, or just the one?
Steve
Unlimited files can be added to a song
Also, is it possible to subscribe to the blog via RSS?
Hi Steve,
At the moment no but it is something I hope to release in the next week or two. I’ll be sure to let you know when it’s done.
Ben
